Yes. Our kintsugi follows traditional methods using genuine Japanese urushi (lacquer) and pure gold. All materials are safe for both the body and the environment, so you can feel at ease. Upon request, we can also use urushi-only finishes, as well as silver or tin.

The listed prices are general estimates for traditional Japanese kintsugi using domestic urushi lacquer and pure gold. Actual costs may vary depending on the type of damage, choice of materials, and the size of the repair. Finishes using pure silver, urushi lacquer alone, or tin are also available.

No. At this time, we limit our kintsugi repairs to ceramics only. We do not accept glass, lacquerware, earthenware pots intended for direct heat, or metal items.

いいえ。現在のところ金継ぎのお直しは陶磁器に限らせて頂いております。ガラス、漆器、直火で使用する土鍋・金属製品は承っておりません。

Yes. In our workshops, we take precautions to prevent skin reactions, such as using vinyl gloves and providing careful instruction. However, urushi (natural lacquer) can cause reactions regardless of experience level. In rare cases, some individuals may even react to urushi-coated items (though we have not encountered such cases with our own repairs).
If a reaction occurs, we recommend seeking medical attention. Please note that we cannot take responsibility for any allergic reactions or skin issues related to urushi exposure.

はい。教室ではかぶれ防止のため、ビニール手袋の使用や講師が注意を払ってご指導致しますが、経験年数等にかかわらずかぶれることはございます。稀に漆を使用した器でかぶれる方もいらっしゃいます（弊社の修復においては経験したことがありません）
かぶれた場合は病院の受診をおすすめ致しますが、この件につき弊社で一切の責任を追うことはできません。
